Description

Drontal is a high quality wormer for the treatment of roundworms and tapeworms in dogs

Roundworms

Ascarids (adult and late immature forms): Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina
Hookworms (adults): Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum
Whipworms (adults): Trichuris vulpis

Tapeworms (adult and immature forms)

Echinococcus granulosus, Echinococcus multilocularis, Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp.

Dosage

7-17.5kg - half tablet

17.5kg-35kg - 1 tablet

35-52.5kg - 1 and a half tablets

52.5-70.25kg - 2 tablets

The tablets are a light-brown to brown, meat flavoured, bone shaped tablets scored on both sides that can be divided into halves.
Each tablet contains 525mg febantel, 175mg pyrantel (equivalent to 504mg pyrantel embonate) and 175mg praziquantel.
